“If I could give this more than five stars I would. These folks have cared for my cat from the beginning, offering affordable standard care. When Lucille got sick with gastrointestinal complications it became an emergency very quickly. She had test procedures followed by major surgery that same day. They saved her life and for that I am forever grateful. You are in good hands at Barton and Grays.”

“Dr Scott was so helpful helping me with my cat whose not been well. I am glad to have such a great vet who cares. However the only mark down I would say I am shocked to see a follow up appointment costs $50-70.”

“Affordable, kind and thorough. He is fine with me feeding my dogs raw diet and doesn't try to change my mind, and very good with my nervous rescue pups who don't love the vet/men. Highly recommended.”

“3 days before we were leaving on vacation, our daughter's pet guinea pig, Brownie, took ill. She wasn't eating and we weren't sure if it was the heat or general malaise. We brought here into Grandview. Dr. Ashley, one of the vets with a specialty and love of pocket pets was our attending physician. We were happy about this. She took x-rays and told us that Brownie was full of gas and that's probably why she wasn't eating. She had the recommended treatment and felt that Brownie would get better. We received a call on the Thursday saying things were moving positively and that we could pick her up on Friday. Dr. Ashley called and said that she wanted to observe her some more and to buy some new pellets. We had our mother-in-law teed up to watch Brownie as were leaving for vacation on the Saturday, but decided to leave Brownie in the care of Grandview just in case she didn't adapt well to the new food or took a turn for the worse. This turned out to be a good decision as Brownie's health appeared to show signs of non-stabilization. Dr. Ashley came in on her own time to check on Brownie over the weekend. How wonderful for us. Monday and Tuesday we got calls from Dr. Ashley keeping us abreast of Brownie's condition. She wasn't grasping her hay properly and perhaps now a dental condition. Guinea pigs need to constantly eat for the health of their gut. Dr. Ashley made calls on our behalf to the University of Guelph. They provided us the plan and cost. In the end, we decided to put Brownie down rather than have her endure a taxi ride to Guelph and no guarantees she would be better. A sad and hard call. We want to thank Dr. Ashley and her team for their time, care and compassion. It made all the difference in the world. I highly recommend this animal hospital. Charlene”

“Technician Nikki and Dr Gilbert are exceptionally warm, caring and loving individuals who take pride in what they do. This is a very warm vet clinic and so much love goes behind the clinic doors. Also, they host donation drives for various cat/dog charities.”

“Cant say enough great things about Dr. Laroque and all the staff at Briarwood. From the first trip in with our little Zoey, we have always been treated with amazing service and care. They are always going above and beyond. You can tell they all have a true love for pets and their health. If you are looking for an amazing vet, make sure you give them a call!”

“My dog got into a packet of washing machine powder, ate some of it. I didn't know until i got home from work. My ex boyfriend was supposed to be watching her (ex for good reason!) Beautiful boxer pup almost died. Beattie staff said i would have to call an info number in the states with my credit card as the company charges for info. Thought that was excessive. It got me connected, then they spoke to the vet beside me. He scooped her into a room and she was filled with electrolytes for dehydration and sodium poisoning. The bill was less that $200 and they saved her life. Worth while visit, not too expensive, highly recommend Beattie if you don't want to get hosed with expensive vet bill somewhere else. And amazing they are 24 hours---care when you need it in the middle of the night”
