“Very quiet and relaxing just what I needed away from home. It has everything the pool and entertainment ...but though the public washroom definitely needs TLC. I'm just a visitor from Hamilton and I had been coming in few weekends enjoyed my time there. Although I wish I could afford a trailer someday. And yes of course I would recommend your campground to my friends. See you again next summer.”

“from the ice skating/walking loop, to the skateboard park, to the water park and the new playground equipment, Memorial Park has received massive upgrades for the better. The park also offers washrooms and changing areas, all indoors and climate-controlled. Waterdown pays absurdly high property taxes...but, in this case, the city put those funds to good use and invested in legitimate community improvements.”

“A jewel in the crown of Ontario. Wether you come from near or from far, it's well worth the visit. The grounds are sprawling and every inch of them is beautiful. Even with the size, the facilities are very well kept and pricing for food and drink are very reasonable. Even the gift shop is priced well. Having attended numerous events here, things are always well organized. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and seem to really care about the place. Truly a five-star establishment.”

“If you love gardens you must make a stop at the Royal Botanical Gardens. There are two locations: the main garden and the Rock Gardens a short distance away. We loved the Rock Garden because of its tiered layout and water features. The main garden has a variety of sections and the fountains are lovely. We had lunch at the bistro. Slightly pricey but convenient. Give yourself plenty of time (3-4 hours) or spend the day and go from one garden to the other. It's not cheap but worth the time and money.”
