Upon returning to the store to satiate my craving of the out of this world tasty peanut butter cups, Lori had informed me that the last time I was in (3 weeks previous), a $20 bill had inadvertently stuck to another $20 bill that I had paid with. She had placed a note on that $20 bill, placed it in a drawer, and then returned it to me on this recent visit. WOW, that kind of honesty combined with the delicious and unique-to-their-store treats should rate as 10 stars. Now one more reason it's my favorite chocolate shop ever. Thank you again Lori. “Good food, good people, it’s the classics done right! And for a great price! Located right beside the gas station, it’s conveniently located to both fill up your car and your belly. I got the Greek Omelette and was impressed at its size and the generous but balanced stuffing of veggies and feta. I’m gluten sensitive (had no reaction) so I opted out of the fries and toast just in case, but my friends said they were done just right. The waitress was a sweet and friendly lady. Their bathrooms are gender neutral, private, and clean. Nice for our LGBTQ+ friends. Thanks for having us!”

“Was passing through and needed a meal before a long drive ahead of me. Stopped here for takeout. The young lady working there was SUPER nice to my dog while I waited and asked before giving her a treat. The older chap that took my order suggested the special and he was very pleasant as well. My meal hit the spot and didn't leave me feeling heavy on the drive home. Chips were great - just the right amount. Awesome tartar sauce too. I wish it had come with a drink though! Overall, great spot and obviously a local favourite.”

“I ordered plain white fish and chips and my wife ordered shrimp and chips. Batter was light and crispy and there was no greasy taste. Order was quick to arrive and the taste was excellent. Our server was pleasant and helpful. The eating area was uncluttered, clean and nicely decorated. Washroom was clean. All Covid protocols were in place and followed. We enjoyed an overall delightful lunch experience.”

“Made a quick stop on our way through town. The gentleman working that Sunday was kind enough to sell me a few cans about ten minutes before they opened for business. Got a few of the lagers and ambers. Nothing fancy, just tasty, dependable brews. I didn't get to enjoy it, but they have a great little patio set up out front.”
