“Food was as always what we expected. Good. But their Covid protocol was exceptional. We waited outside till out table was ready. The seats and tables were wiped down every time and we were given one time use menus (that were really only used once). The staff were cautious and efficient. Bravo. “I happened to have a regular steak from here on the way to somewhere else. I have to say that all of you’ve to try their burritos. It was so tasty for a reasonable price. The girl at the cash was so friendly and made me feel at home. As compared to the other burrito store in Lindsay employees at burrito zone give us cool friendly customer service. I think they recently started this store in Lindsay still they made it up to the customers. Thanks for the service and good luck”

“Truly a great place. The name may be a bit off putting - I know I made a couple jokes driving by. However we discovered what it was about and upon even calling to see if they were open, we were greeted by a friendly voice and excited customer service. Our first occasion to try them was for takeout and the food was phenomenal. I recently discovered a taste for Indian food and now I absolutely love this place in the middle of Lindsay. Our second time we decided to dine it. It wasn't very busy, but again the food and service were amazing. They have pool and darts (though they could use a little TLC) but overall it was a great little date for my girlfriend and I. I absolutely recommend them. This area has some bad luck for previous businesses. This restaurant is phenomenal and I would hate to see them follow that path. I highly recommend checking them out. They have a variety of Indian and Canadian food!”

“My wife and her family had lunch at this great loca restaurant and we enjoyed the food so much. We tried the special "once around the ocean" and it was great. This place is also conveniently located next to another local gem, Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream shop. I highly recommend this place.”

“Well, I have to say I was disappointed! My daughter was down visiting me and we decided we wanted fish and chips for dinner, I'd heard great things about the Halibut House so we decided to give it a try. I ordered two halibut dinners to go, the bill was $32.00 and change. When I went in to pick up our order I realized there was only one box in the bag and I asked the young lady where the second dinner was. It seemed she misunderstood and thought I only wanted 2 pieces of halibut and chips. Wow, $32.00 for two pieces of fish and chips! Then she offered to get me a second order of chips and since my daughter was sitting in the car waiting I decided to go that route so we could get going. More fun and confusion, she told me she would have to charge me an extra $2.00 for the aditional chips, then she told me sorry, it was $3.00 not $2.00, by the time I finally got my chips it had gone up to $5.00. So, $37.00 and change for two pieces of fish and chips, no coleslaw or lemon. The food was good but not that good and the staff seemed very inexperienced, the one young lady had to get a calculator out to try and figure out change from a $50.00. So would I go back, probably not, while the food was good I don't feel it's good value for what we did get.”

“Love this place! The staff read your order back to you usually 2 times to ensure its correct. They are always friendly and very polite. They always try to make sure you are happy. You may have to wait a couple minutes for your food but it is because they are preparing it fresh. It's always hot and worth the wait!!! Update: i called at 9:25pm to see what time they closed.. they told me 930pm but that I could place my order on the phone and they would wait for me to get there.. what great service!!!! So impressed with this restuarant!!”
