“I recently had some landscaping done at our cottage near Kenora , Ontario by Sunrise Earth Works. We had a really good experience. Amos and Michael were highly skilled, respectful and really nice people. The truck driver was amazing. He backed into spaces through a path that resembled an obstacle course. They came when they told us they would, they did what they said they would do, and then they did a little bit more. Their prices were competitive and they were easy to work with. We will use them again.”

“Kids loved the chicken strips, fries, and pizza night. The grandkids had fun playing on billiards table and pop while playing. It's called a bar & grill but the children are welcome. Staff are friendly and helpful. The place is at water's edge of the bay and marina. I liked my burger and fries with the broccoli slaw.”

“Our party of 4 had a fantastic late June stay at Sunset Point in Minaki (Trailhead and Boathouse cabins). Alan and Margaret are super friendly and made the entire experience enjoyable, from booking the suites, to orienting us to the fishing spots, to picking us up and dropping us off at the landing during arrival and departure times. On our arrival evening, Alan took us for a tour of the local waters, which certainly helped put us "on the fish" and helped us avoid reefs and other troubles on the water! We fished for 2 full days and caught our limit of walleye each day, well before lunch! We even netted a 54" Muskie (right near the lodge)... quite by accident. But it makes for a great story. With the excellent fishing, great hospitality, and comfortable/quiet cabins, we look forward to returning to Sunset Point Minaki in the future. Thanks again for a great experience and memories!”

“We love this liquor store...it's small but has everything one needs. Staff are very helpful and there is selection we can't get in Manitoba. It's convenient and the also carry Food and Drink magazine which is free in store and comes out quarterly. I hear this location is greatly expanding (3x) next year.”

“Decent area, fairly spacious overnight site. Friendly workers. Washroom facilities for the overnight area are still under construction, so you have to walk up to the shop. Would have been a great stay if we had been warned about the horrifying Tick problem. We have spent years living and travelling through Ontario and Yellowknife and never have we faced what can only be described as a severe infestation of Ticks the way we have after one night here. Our dogs are completely covered with them and we've already removed hundreds. If you plan to stay here, make sure your pups have tick treatments ready, and stay off the grass.”

“Just returned from another amazing stay at Big Narrows Resort! This was our 5th visit. If you are passionate about fishing, this is the place for you. The musky and walleye fishing can be best described as incredible - best location for fishing on Lake of the Woods. Jordon and Cristina continue to excel at running the resort, making sure the guests are comfortable. For a top notch experience, we highly recommend the American Plan. You will enjoy breathtaking views of Lake of the Woods while experiencing the fine dining provided by Master Chef Cheryl. We will be back again next year!”

“Trip was truly unbelievable!!!! We had 14 Dad's and son's do the 4 night fly-in to Rogers Lake and a few stayed 3 more nights at Big North main lodge.. From the first class service of helping us prepare for our first fly-in, to the incredible cabin at Rogers and the constant monitoring of the rookies by Alex and Zack was truly amazing.. Crazy part, the fishing was even more amazing. Everyone caught an incredible number of fish, Trophy smallmouth, Pike and Walleye.. The walleye were so numerous and big, we caught them regularly casting for pike.. It was crazy!! Our trip didn't end at Rogers, incredible fishing and service at Big North.. Food was incredible, accommodations were amazing, and the fishing was unbelievable.. Son caught a monster pike and 2 musky!! Big North can't thank u enough for the trip of a lifetime. Son is hooked!!
