“When we decided firmly that we were seeking a home in Lambton Country, we found we needed storage for the things we wanted to keep. Because my husband and I had the benefit of being raised in Point Edward, we sought to find storage there, and found it in Store-N-Save - Sarnia Point Edward. Right from the very beginning, the staff worked hard to make an overwhelming (for us) situation very doable. They were relaxed, gave us ideas of what size we would need (they were exactly correct on that, of course), and eager to alleviate as many of the moving stressors as they could. I have recommended this storage facility many times to people who have too much stuff to hold in their homes. I have shared my very positive experience with them, and urged them to at least give the Point Edward facility a call. “We went in to get some boxes and packing tape for our house move. The staff member was very helpful and spent a lot of time showing us the different boxes. She explained what each of the boxes was for, and gave us a good estimate of how many we would need. She also showed us the paper packing tape that tears off by hand - that tape is fantastic! Saves so much time, and when you have dozens of boxes to pack and not much time it is really worth it.”

This is an extremely rigorous process geared to ensuring all customers are paying a fair, near cost-of-service price for the gas they use. There are no generous markups in the billing rates. The billing rates are all government controlled for the benefit of the cutomer. Especially in recent years Enbridge Gas has embraced an ever greater focus and investment in safety based work processes, technology, asset health monitoring, and most importantly relentlessly pursuing a best-in-class safety culture within all of Enbridge. This all adds up to a world class leader in energy transmission and delivery. With that said, why are so many gas customers largely unaware of the roll Enbridge plays in their daily lives - because the natural gas folks do such a good job every day at providing and maintaining the high level of service and supply to every single customer's meter that no one questions the reliability and continuity of supply or service. Think about it, you may have a back-up generator at your house or place of work - and what fuel source does that generator depend on (natural gas!). Working for Enbridge Gas Inc. is a positive challenge - every day. And the industry is vast in its diverse range of required expertise - ranging from the most sensitive socio-economic subject areas to the toughest technical/engineering areas - and everything in between from finance, to aviation, to information technology, to core health safety & securtiy etc.; virtually anything you can think of. Anyone looking for a genuine, rewarding and meaningful career can find their place in the natural gas industry - from career start to retirement. The caveat is that you have to have a lot of patience and always be able to see the big picture. In short, the safe & reliable operating, maintaining, expanding, and renewing of billion-dollar infrastructure assets is no knee-jerk process. Some projects can take years of dilegent planning and execution; and every step of the way takes a lot of care to get it right - the first time, every time. And that is the challenge you find at Enbridge Gas Inc. - all while each and every gas customer depends on you every day, every minute, to keep their house 'warm', as well as their own and their customers' places of business 'running'.
