The chicken was so tender with a great crunchy but light batter, and the sandwich carried a little kick without being overwhelming. “Man Ling Restaurant has never disappointed us. We have been customers for several years. The veggies are cooked just right with a bit of crunch left, never mushy. The pieces of chicken you do not have to hunt for. The spring rolls are allways crispy never oily tasting. All staff are very accommodating with special requests ie: no shrimp. “Decided to give it a try after a recommendation and it’s a great place. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced for the quality and portion size you get. The service was great also, only thing I would say is it was a little on the slow side to get our food. But they were busy and probably still working out some kinks etc. So I won’t hold that against them and definitely will return. Hopefully they have a wing night because they have really good wings.”

“They have excellent sandwiches. We tried the pickled pig and the holy pig sandwiches. The bread was fresh and they made the sandwich after we placed our order. The filling was of a generous quantity, and we enjoyed every bite of the substantial sandwich as we picnicked by the riverside. Service was friendly too, and the sandwiches were value for money. “My family went here for breakfast today. We've been to a few places since Covid restrictions were lifted and this is by far the best place I've seen take the cleanup and restrictions seriously. Beyond that, let's talk about the food. We had breakfast, but still presentation was good. Quality of the food was great. Bacon is nothing to write home about, but still good. Pan fried potatoes (not deep fried stuff so many others do) were great. Coffee tasted good too. Pricing was decent for what we got and well worth it. So great value overall. Booths and decor are outdated, but overall everything else make up for it.”

“Had no idea this restaurant was here, came last night and went back tonight because the food was lovely. Tonight I requested curry to be spicier and it was wonderful. Much better inside than out so don't let the facade put you off. Service was excellent on both nights and chatted with the chef tonight and he was extremely pleasant and very professional.
