“I had so much fun at Viva Villa I did not want to leave. Between playing horseshoes, using their canoes/boats, biking, swimming, and enjoying their fire, I never lacked things to do. Even after getting too much sun, they had satellite TV to watch while relaxing, or wildlife to watch in the river. Kate and Scott are so friendly and accommodating, I felt very welcome. Groceries and restaurants are so close there isn't much need to venture far. I definitely recommend staying here. The price is right! 👌”

“This resort is the best place we could find in Manitoulin island. Cabins are clean and organized, 4 of them are right at the lake, each has its own fire pit and barbecue, heating system and fan in case it’s too hot. Location of the resort is also very good. 3-5 minutes ride to Bridal Veil Waterfall, LCBO, Gas station, Coffee shop, farmers market and more. But the most important part is the owner’s’ attitude and care. Both of them are very nice and doing their best for guests. It seems like they are doing this business for not making an income but for their joy. We had a minor issue during our stay, but they went above and beyond to solve it and satisfy all of us. Thank you guys for everything. Highly recommended for families!”

“Had a great stay at this park, the trailer we rented was well stocked with dishes and cutlery and comfortable for the three of us. Steve and his wife were wonderful hosts and very friendly. A playground for the children would be really great to add to it for future camping, we will be back next year for sure reasonable rates”

“We had a great 2 night stay at the Carter House. Great location, right beside the Bridal Veil Falls and close to Cup and Saucer trail, Gore Bay, etc. Kelly is a great host and really takes care of you. Breakfast is amazing (and big)! It was unfortunate that when we visited a lot of the restaurants were closed for the season, but Kelly helped us find good options that were still open. Would definitely return next time we visit Manitoulin!”

“My husband thought that he was the king of the world while staying at Hide Away Lodge. The cabins are older but charming. The place is very quiet with a wonderful view of the bay. We were canoeing, drinking coffee looking out over the bay, woken up with a woodpecker bopping a tree and deer grazing on the lawn. What more could we possibly want other than the beautiful sunrise over the bay after a night of incredible stars?”
