“Such an amazing place to go for crystals! The owners are very polite and love to inform you on names of crystals or any information you don't already know. Their tumbles are all great prices and along with their larger pieces. They have boxes for their small crystals and in those boxes, (along with the crystals themselves,) is a sticker. On that sticker, it will have the name, price and anything else you need to know about it. You can tell that the owners are very passionate about what they do and are always so happy to serve you and have a conversation with you. This store has jewelry, fossils, beads, tumbles, carvings, raw pieces, statement pieces and lots of others. They bring in lots of variety and have crystals I've never even heard of before. I'd like to say at least 60% of my collection is from their shop alone and I have no regrets. I'd definitely recommend buying from here on your next visit to the Western Fair Farmers Market! It is small, so you get the feeling (I get the feeling, can't vouch for you) that you are in someone else's house, going through their stuff, ready to purchase anything your fancy. It has a complete set of household items, enough to staff out three or four households at once. Furniture is always clean and impeccable; the only thing in the store i could not afford for myself if I needed any. Everything else is dirt cheap, while clean, shiny and useful. Clothing is of little selection, if you need something better, I would recommend some other second-hand store. It is neat and quaint. The old lady who used to be rude and partial to her favourite customers has retired two years ago, and the new staff is very attentive and kind.”

“They change the prices of many different items whenever they feel like it. A couple of examples... I went one day and bought a loaf of bread and a bag of 2% milk and it came to $8.25. Three days later the same purchase was $8.75 ; and then the last 2 times the same purchase came to $9.95. Another example .... Was there picking up a few things and saw they had packets of koolaide (I hadn't drank koolaide in years and instantly craved it) The man was working, asked him how much and he said .49. Bought some, went home and basically guzzled it haha went back that evening to grab another packet and the woman charged me .67. A couple of times I had to request my change from the woman. It wasn't much, under a quarter each time but it was the principal of the matter; variety store cashiers don't work for tips so she shouldn't just keep people's change. I still go there regularly but only because I have mobility disabilities and it's the closest store within walking distance of my home.”

We have used them a number of times - to restore several of my grandparents antique tables (including one that had a warped top), reupholstering dining room chairs and recently for a delicate coffee and end table set - all of which came out very well.
