Gnosh at West 5

Originally had given a 5 star rating for my previous 2 times visited the last year, This visit was a big fall of from past visits
Made a reservation a week in advance for Sunday 6pm, received a confirmation email from Joe saying that the reservation was confirmed. When we show up we are asked if we have a reservation, which we do as confirmed by Joe. Hostess says don't have a reservations for you, And I will have to squeeze you in as other people also have reservations. We are sat right next to the bar. As a pair children are running and screaming around the tables. Suzie the server was delightful and was attentive and friendly. The food was severely under salted (Gnocchi Mac & Cheese, had great texture but were tasteless) and the Mash potatoes of my BRAISED BEEF SHORT RIBS were also very underwhelming ( the roasted beets add much needed flavor) . I'm not sure if there has been kitchen staff turn over but the experience has definitely not moved forward from my previous fabulous experiences.

Really great time at Gnosh tonight. An outing with 3 other couples. All quite enjoyed their wine, cocktails and well-presented meals. Duck was really tasty. Finished with a delicious carrot cake. Service was fast and we weren’t pressured to leave which was appreciated for our special night out together. Thanks for a super evening.

Street parking was close and free.

The culinary presentation was exemplary, food was good.
The ambiance created a pleasing atmosphere, contributing to an overall delightful dining experience. Moreover, the service provided was impeccable, further enhancing the overall satisfaction of our visit.

Tasty food and loads of options for GF, DF, etc. The service was exceptional, even with the restaurant being super busy because of an ongoing promotion. Atmosphere was wonderful and relaxed for a date night, once the crowds had left, so I suggest arriving around 8:30 pm.

I don’t believe it’s usually this busy, but the promotion has them packed.

I have been wanting to try this new location for a while now and finally had a chance to over Easter long weekend with my girlfriends.

Absolutely loved the decor and the friendly staff. My organic burger was very well prepared and the fresh fries satisfied my cravings.

The menu here seems different from the one downtown so be sure to check out both locations.
