“My partner and I were dreading our move as we were going from London to a cottage just northeast of Kingston. We had initially sought a quote from a well-known mover whom we had used some 30 years before but their price was exorbitant. So, we shopped around and found True North Movers consistently on "best of..." lists, usually first. Getting a quote was straightforward and simple, the estimate was substantially less than what we had been provided, there was a minimal deposit, and a date was set. The movers arrived on time, were very efficient, professional and courteous. We felt reassured that the move wouldn't be as traumatic as we had imagined soon after they started packing the truck. They arrived on time the next morning as planned to deliver our items and negotiated ably some of the unique and challenging features of our location. Again, everything was done quickly and smoothly, with only one minor casualty which is remarkable considering we were moving an entire household. Even more surprising was the price which was within pennies of what we had been quoted; there were no surprises, no unexpected extras slipped into the bill! I wouldn't consider any other mover -- True North Movers was phenomenal!”

“Moving is one of the most stressful life events people can experience. Our move was much less stressful thanks to this company and the 5 amazing guys who were our moving crew a week ago. They were incredibly careful yet efficient, very professional & patient. I think they picked up on our 'stress level' and our one son who was having a tough time with the move overall. One of the movers was so kind as to say a few encouraging words to our son, who was in his bedroom still packing that morning and wishing the move wasn't happening... Those words helped tremendously. This moving crew had to deal with a narrow street at our new home, an awkward space to move things from the main floor to upstairs, and a low-ceiling basement. But they moved things with ease, with care; their positivity was contagious and it was greatly appreciated that day. We bought them coffee/tea at one point in the morning but I feel as though we should have bought them all a gourmet lunch.. or at least some pizzas and Beer. Greg, Darian and Mike worked so quickly and efficiently. However, above all, was their level of care and attention to our belongings. We felt at ease as they moved our belongings. They made the whole move a stress free process (Unheard of!). We will be sure to recommend them to our friends and family and use them again in the future.
