Beautiful trails. Staff were great. Nothing special tho. I'm glad I went but I likely won't go again, you can see the same scenery without playing for the boat on the mainland. There were also a lot of people.
Beautiful well maintained park. The island offers a great diversity of camping sites from forested to rocky Canadian Shield. Tent platforms and washrooms all in good condition. Trails are well marked.
First visit to this park. Part of the experience is a boat ride to the island. Wonderful time. Well maintained despite recent winter damage to some of the board walks. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Lots of wildlife (snakes, turtles, porcupine). We are likely to be back.
Clean and well maintained park. Staff here are super friendly! From the time we pulled into the parking lot we were greeted and taken care of. The ferry ride was lots of fun for the kids. We even got to learn about snakes and hold one while we were on the island. Our time here was very pleasant.
Thanks to Shawn for awesome nature tours and Mike for the awesome children stories by the waterside at night. The kids were inspired and couldn't stop chatting about the stories before bed. We had super hot weather but the kids lived in the water so didnt mind at all. We have been 3 times and always stay in one of the cedar spring cottages. Staff is second to none and they make me feel proud to live in this country. Awesome experience.
