“A great day on Beausoleil Island facilitated by an enjoyable ferry ride there and back. Like anywhere in this world, when you stop and pause to chat to the team about to help you, you tend to find interesting and engaged team members. This was the case with the entire team here. They were chatty and engaging and my wife and I had a great day hiking on the island. They were on time and very pleasant to deal with. The island was a great place to visit. We chose the Northern end of the island to visit and there were no crowds and we got to experience the beauty of the island on Georgian Bay. Bring food and water and then simply enjoy the setting. Pack a wind breaker or rain jacket, but plan on a very pleasant day. Thanks to the team for facilitating this!”

“Cosy park! Only went in the evening during the off season so I'm not sure how busy it gets.”

“A great gem of Georgian Bay. The perfect place to anchor or sit on shore to watch the sunset. The bugs can be bad throughout summer so make sure to bring some bug spray. This is a nature reserve so please make sure to pack out what you bring with you.”

“My favorite place to go camping by far. The Portage is definitely a testing one but as the saying goes, hard work pays off.”

“Absolutely beautiful, love this free piece of land to explore! Bugs are pretty bad in mid summer though. Other than that, everything is amazing . The water , the land , animals.. it was a very nice 2 night/ 3day camp.”

“It's nice, but it's loaded with rattle snakes. Almost stepped on one on the trail. If you go, make sure you don't go alone. I checked after the trip and found out that it's a breeding ground!”

“We liked the area. Clean, and nice views from the campground. The trails are not recommended. It's a hardship not to get lost, barely any signs, and there is no clear path. The map doesn't help. The campground itself is very nice.”

“Great little r/v and tent campground. Seasonal and short term sites. Good size dock for fishing and boat rentals. Staff is hard working and very friendly!”

“Me and three friends came here this past weekend to camp. We had a good experience here. We were only in the office for a few minutes getting everything ready and paid for before we were on our way. We were given all the information we needed, any weather, animal or other warnings we needed as well. The staff were friendly and efficient. The campsite was very clean when we arrived and the rules about keeping it tidy were clear and easy to understand. The "comfort stations" (bathrooms + showers) were the cleanest I've ever seen on a campground. The outhouses spread around the camp were very clean as well and pleasant to use even though outhouses are rarely pleasant. The only negative thing we found is that the trails were not marked very well, we found ourselves getting confused by some of the arrows and signs. But overall a very good experience!”

“Clean and well maintained park. Staff here are super friendly! From the time we pulled into the parking lot we were greeted and taken care of. The ferry ride was lots of fun for the kids. We even got to learn about snakes and hold one while we were on the island. Our time here was very pleasant.”
