Hidden Valley Resort, Ascend Hotel Collection

Friends booked the camp site in Arrowhead Provincial Park, my wife is not a camping person so we booked Hidden Valley Resort at the same time. We were surprised about the beautiful beach, so our friends joined us to the resort at the last day and we enjoyed the free canoes and paddle boardings.

As a family with two kids, safety and sanitation is the priority i looking at when I book trips. Hand sanitizers and cleaning spray are everywhere for guests to use, from waterfront equipment to patio desks, facial mask required signs, social distancing notices are presented at all the entrances and exists. Staffs are all wearing masks properly all the time, this resort is really doing their work well to ensure guests safety. If anyone is looking for a resort for families during the special moment, this is definitely the perfect destination.

Best destination for a quick escape from the city. Ski hills are very friendly for beginners, or if you just like to polish skills in the not crowded slopes. Kids love going there.

Stayed for two nights with my parents. We didn't wanna drive to town so we had all meals in their onsite restaurant, enjoyed the hot breakfast by the window. Overall a not bad stay, my dad liked it.

Spent 2 nights in a King balcony room facing the lake and the view was beautiful! The other reviews are correct that the hotel is dated however it is very clean. The customer service was fantastic and Geoff and the other front desk staff were always pleasant to deal with. Unfortunately the pool and hot tubs were closed due to covid which is quite common right now. If you are staying here I would highly recommend checking out the restaurant on site for dinner!
