Windrush Bed and Breakfast and Holiday home.

What a beautiful setting and host! Lynn greeted us out front and had fresh cookies baked for the kids upon arrival. The space is well appointed with every amenity you could need. Our hosts were also very accommodating, providing snow shoes and ensuring we were comfortable.

Breakfast was amazing! Although we were quite pleased with Lynn’s daily offering, she also went out of her way to make a special breakfast for our picky son. “Above and beyond” doesn’t begin to describe the level of caring. (Oh and we especially loved the fresh muffins/ loafs each morning before breakfast)

The property is spectacular! 80 acres of peaceful serenity. We enjoyed hiking the trails and the dogs loved running the expansive bush/ forest and stream. Such a quiet tranquil setting, yet so close to all amenities. Hidden Valley is literally across the street and fabulous restaurants are a 15 minute drive to Huntsville. We also visited Limberlost Forest at Lynn’s recommendation. It is an unknown treasure that was definitely worth the visit. Be sure to hike Buck lake and see the frozen waterfalls in the winter.

Overall a great experience! Can not wait to visit again!

Lovely homely touches and very comfortable

Amazing little spot up north. Near Algonquin Park. Clean spot with great local hikes and wooded areas.

We have stayed in both the bed and breakfast and the adjacent cottage. The accommodation is always clean and comfortable and the scenery fabulous in all seasons. The hosts are very friendly and caring to your needs. Breakfasts very tasty and varied, and very well presented. We will definitely return again. Thankyou Lynn and Dave 😀

Have stayed here a couple of times with my family and loved it. Very clean, great food and hospitable hosts! Great location and scenery also and close to Algonquin.
