We felt safe, comfortable and more importantly well looked after. Our servers at the Chophouse were incredible (Naveen & co.) and Christian appreciate you keeping our bonfire lit our first night! A big kudos to Leah & the GM who hosted a lovely wine reception for guests outdoors on the Terrace. The heat lamps and blankets were the best! As well as the shrimp sliders! Great to chat with fellow travellers that evening. Looking forward to returning for another fabulous stay!!”

“The cabins were cool, we got our own beach with ducks visiting daily! A great family place. The food was ok could be better, but there are other places to eat. I am sad that they are closing, but it was a little rundown, and rooms needed renovations. SWS was a big part of the trip, learned how to waterski in 3 days. The beach is great and the floating obstacles are soooo fun. Overall amazing place!!”

“Great place if you love nature. Make sure you get ready for Lake Fun. That's the Best part of place. Friendly staff. Only thing to look after or upgrade is washrooms. I will give 5 anyway for unmatchable location and staff. Price is super fair and extra for shower. ($1 for 5min) You can go for kayaking, fishing speed boat whatever you ready for season. Lake just around corner. Limited space available for sure and easy access for convenience shop in side the park. Quick response from staff and happy stay for weekend. Will be back.”

“Just perfect. Karina was friendly and responsive from the moment we inquired about our booking, until we checked out. We stayed in cottage #6 and it was very quaint, well maintained and clean. The resort itself was very clean and quiet. Lots of paddle boats, canoes, kayaks and paddle boards for use. We had a birthday in our group and Karina even decorated with a sign and balloons! Would love to come back!”

“We had an amazing time at Heart of Muskoka Cottages. Check-in was easy, our cabin "Birchview" was clean, cozy and had all of the amenities needed for a calm, relaxing weekend. The grounds are well maintained and the view of the lake was perfect. We enjoyed the dock well into the night where stars and campfires from far across the lake setup the most spectacular scenery. The owner and maintenance worker (forgot his name) were both very nice and made sure all of our questions were answered upon arrival. Thank you! Will definitely be returning!”

“Wonderful place with million $ lake view. One of the few family-own resorts. Staff goes out of their way to help and make you feel good. All inclusive resort with lots of activities, even one run of water skiing and tubing per day included in the price. Meals are super, nice outdoor patio right by the lake and dinning room with lake view. A heaven for the kids and their parents. We don't have kids and still enjoyed our week at Shamrock. It offers evrrything you want for an active, outdoor, care-free vacation in an enchanting setting. We'll be back next year. Warning: this is not for couples looking for a luxury resort.”
