“Stopped by on my way into Shall lake for a canoe trip. Purchase a classic hamburger at the takeout side and it was VERY good. So good that we stopped again on the way out. Got the Madawaska hamburger with fires and gravy. Very nice service, excellent food. This will be my go-to spot every time I go to Algonquin Park.”

“Rustic full-service restaurant and pub near Algonquin Park. Sweet staff and tourist clientele. The menu is mostly classics. We went for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by the fluffy, almost pillowy pancakes. Great place to jump off to the park for hiking and canoeing.”

“Awesome food in a quaint lodge. We had a small room with 2 twin beds. The room was very clean and the beds and bedding were very comfortable and modern. We even had a little gas fireplace and fridge. The food was delicious. I had the gluten-free potato crusted pickerel and I was even given a gluten-free bun. Even the breakfast buffet was fresh with lots to choose from and they had gluten-free toast. Highly recommended this quaint lodge.”
