Island Spirits

Did a solo camping trip few weeks ago. What caught my attention was the sites they offer. Literally on the water. Yes little more expensive than a regular site somewhere else but this little island is well worth it. Captain TJ was just amazing. The staff I ran into around the island was the friendliest bunch I've ever met. Always stopped and chatted to make sure everything was fine. Wish I remembered their names. Older short hair lady and an older Irish gent I believe. Fantastic people. As for the property. Wow. Alpacas came for a visit each morning along with the goats. Very cool experience. There is a ton of other farm animals around which makes the place interesting. Plus the activities such as a mud wrestling pit, brass pole dancing, volleyball ect. (Did not participate lol ) I highly recommend this place. Walking the island the cabins are also very cool. Great for larger groups. An awesome experience. Well done Captain and the staff. Very first time here, was absolutely amazing! So much to do and the animals make it extra special. Capt. T.J and her staff are warm welcoming and just as amazing as this place. Magical!!

Wonderful island to spend a few nights or even much longer if you're into the cabin and camping life. From the farm animals to all the visitor accommodations (water crafts, swimming docks) it is the essential camping experience on a private island that immediately felt like home away from home.

It was such an amazing experience. The crew where amazing it basically felt like home away from home. We went there with kids and it was unbelievably kid friendly and they can’t stop talking about it. Would recommend everyone to go see and rejuvenate.

Have been coming here with family and friends for years. Great fun for all ages! Trudy is an amazing host and is very hard working. Can't wait for our next trip!
