“We checked out The Birdhouse Nature Store, at its new location in Brighton. It has a lot more space than their previous setting. In addition to a wide selection of bird related equipment and food, they also sell other decorations for the garden. It is situated in a century old house and is surrounded by beautiful gardens, where you can relax and enjoy the flowers and trees. It's definitely worth the drive to Brighton!”

Presqu'ile Provincial Park Campground

Address: Brighton, ON K0K 1H0, Canada

Campground Lodging Park Point of interest Establishment

“Would be great if a part of the enormous beach was set aside for people with dogs. It's not like there's no space for that. If you allow pets on camping grounds, it only makes sense to allow the same families or persons to enjoy the beach too, not ban them for having dogs. Otherwise, less privacy than at other parks, the greenery between the sites is barely there, not sure why it was necessary to decimate it. One can hear every single word the neighbors say and can only hope they don't stay late. The place itself is a gift, a beautiful place. The marshes are impressive.”

“A beautiful place. We were lucky enough to reserve one day in advance for a front row spot for camping. But I recommend to do that in advance to have best places. Our spot (327) was amazing, the lake was just near us. It was a pebbly beach (the sandy one is a bit farther) but I loved it even more than the sandy one because there were far less people. In general, near our spot there was water access, and bathrooms. There are showers but there are a little bit farther. I definitely recommend this place.”
