“Nice and quiet park near a town. The park is only 1.98km², the trail along the river is interesting with beautiful view. Very good place for boating and fishing. Not safe to swim in the river. No beach. Road in the park is very dusty. Do not take campsites without shade in summer. Washroom is old ,with only one shower. We also spent a afternoon to visit the town, bakery and ice cream store.”

“This park was a sanity saver after we'd just taken the kids through Quidi Bidi and to Belbins Grocery. Some kind person has left some tonka trucks, and other toys. A variety of swings and a few benches in the sun or shade and right next to a beautiful community garden made this park a highlight of our day in St. John's with littles.”
