“Made a service call for my parents who are disabled and elderly and the service guy was good and said nothing was wrong. He spent 15 minutes at the house but they charged 2 hours for a minimum service call. Never informed me of this when I made appointment. I can understand a minimum of 1 hour but a $348 charge for 2 hours for a 15 min visit is outrageous. Basically taking money for no work.if they told me of the two hour minimum when I booked the appointment I could have made a choice but they didn't. While they did a good job installing their service policy leaves much to be desired. Feels like they take advantage and leaves a bad taste in your mouth. As an update UCE called me back and made a generous adjustment and said they are reviewing their policy. Very much appreciated and I'm glad my call to them was takena seriously. For that I am giving them a better review. The owner is a very reasonable and fair person. I would recommend them for that.”

Well Dr. Marie-Pier blew all expectations out t mid the water. She is kind, accommodating, knowledgeable, and never rushes you. She made my difficult pregnancy bearable. After I gave birth she came to our home when my baby was two days old and gave both of us an adjustment. She truly cares about her patients.10/10 Recommend!”

“While reinsulatjng we found several unexpected cracks in the foundation. Thought about repairing ourselves, due in part to some poor experiences with contractors. As we had dealt with Capital Foundations in our last house, we knew they were honest and did a great job. We definitely made the right decision again. Not only did they use one of the best products on the market, but the skill, knowledge and workmanship exceeded our expectations. I know that I will be able to sleep at night knowing it is done right. A couple of the cracks were small but went ahead with repair. The images below, tell me that the crack was far worse than it looked, extending to the outside parging. The inside pictures assure me that the crack is properly sealed. Thanks for a great job!”

““We met Carolyn Bradley, our realtor, by chance first in the summer of 2013 and again during an open house in fall 2013, at the time she was helping another agent with their open house. We had started looking for a new home. I was impressed by her sales ethics and approach during the open house. First, she knew a great deal about the house, had done her homework and was prepared to ‘sale’ the home. If we pointed out something negative, no laundry on the main floor, she would point out positive of having space to sort/hang the clothes to dry in the larger basement laundry room for example. She highlighted all the positives and noted the extras about the home she was showing. It was more than just ‘let me know if you have question’ more like be sure you look at the master bathroom it’s been recently renovated and looks great! She is full of positive energy, friendly and approachable which were qualities we wanted representing us when we sold. We were shopping for a home and an agent. She offered to set-up a home search of the daily MLS new listing that met our criteria, and when we saw something we liked, she go see it with us, as she found value in knowing what was on the market and enjoyed ‘home shopping’ with us. She was our partner in our home search for a year and half. We saw more than 25 houses. Not once were we pressured or made to feel she was wasting her time, she and we were enjoying the process of finding our prefect home. We did finally find and make an offer along with others and although we were not successful on that occasion we were a few months later with Carolyn help on a ‘for sale by owner’. We did not sign a representation agreement with Carolyn till we were ready to make offers on each of those homes although unconventional she worked with us, our special needs required flexibility. While we were shopping, we hired a home stager to guide us in preparing our home for sale. Our existing remodeled home had great curb and backyard appeal but it was backing a busy street. It was going to require agent that could balance the good with the bad, price it right and sale it with a 4 month out possession date to accommodate our new purchase home owner. Not an easy achievement! Carolyn negotiated all these transactions and we never once regretted our decision to partner with her, because it is a partnership we had to do our part. As a footnote, we also sold a parents’ condo with Carolyn help, we looked at all comparable sale and visited all the condominium listing. We agreed on a listing price and were going to put it on the market but for a family friend interested in the unit and we never had to list it. Carolyn contributed to our success in each transaction. “I feel this location is caught in a weird position that ultimately makes for a less than ideal experience the last few times I have gone. They are not busy enough to have additional staff on during peak periods, but the single person there (working incredibly hard mind you) has to split their time between doing in person orders and delivery service orders. Each time I had to wait while multiple Uber/Skip the Dishes orders were made, a person in the store would order, more pick up orders were made, then to the next person. One time I just went and sat outside for 20 minutes until they were ready to take my order. Again, it's not entirely their fault and the food is fairly good and the staff is always pleasant and apologetic, but does take away from the experience. Oh, and I do miss the signature burritos and bowls.”

“What a nice place to go for drinks and nosh! The patio is beautiful you will feel like you're on a mini vacation with the wonderfully colorful and happy ambiance. The waitresses are so attentive and we were offered some free beer samples. The beer selection is great and these are handcrafted on location. There are even some honey beers with local honey as the (owner?) Is apparently also a beekeeper. The charcuterie board is delightful and always a bit different. The black pepper and whiskey sausages are also delicious and are made on site. For having such a small kitchen we were pretty impressed with the varied menu options. 😋 We will definitely be back when we need to de-stress!”
