Hands down favourite breakfast spot in the city. It’s not over pretentious like many other fancy diners or chain breakfast spots popping up all over the city. A humble breakfast, fantastic value, friendly staff, make for a perfect early morning or weekend specialty. Been open for years and the family ran business is no greasy spoon. Strong coffee and amazing homemade beans are great with any breakfast special. Kind people serving delicious food in a humble diner in an industrial park in Ottawa = perfection. Thanks Mona. Average tasting breakfast. Nothing stood out, but the portion sizes were acceptable for the price. Every platter breakfast is served with plain baked beans which are bland, they need a spicy option IMO. I would think that if they're going to have every meal come with beans, then there should be something special about them. Breakfast is served until 1:00 on weekends according to the server.

It's a cozy place ...nothing fancy . Had a basic breakfast and I was served by Mona herself.
