  Had Alex come by today to take a look at two of my toilets that I was having issues with. It was an excellent experience. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and concise regarding what had to be repaired. Fixed the toilets and now I have two working toilets again. Thank you!

  I hired DS Plumbing based on the feedback from Google reviews. So a big thank you to the Google community for that.
  
  So I needed to have a kitchen faucet replaced and the shutoffs valves replaced as well. I contemplated doing the job myself, but because the shutoff valves needed replacing i decided to hire a professional. Sarah arrived, on time, and was very pleasant. She did a very good job and finished in about 2 hours. I would have given DS plumbing 5 stars had the pricing been better.
  
  Now the downside... yes, the price... I ended up being invoiced the equivalent of about $300/hr, which i think is a bit steep. And they wouldn't give me a price over the phone ahead of time, so i was kind of put on the spot. I called them about the price afterwards and they gave me 10% off, but in my opinion it's still too high (still $270/hr). In comparison, the going rate for an auto mechanic at a dealership is about $120/hr. But, if this is the going rate for a professional plumber, then i highly recommend DS Plumbing. If not, shop around.

  I was impressed with the service from Gary at DS plumbing. On time, clean work space and tools, knowledgeable assessment and quick resolution for a major problem. I will use them again and feel very lucky that i picked them out of many through BBB site.

  We got a quote from another so called 'reputable' company and decided to go with DS Plumbing instead. All I ever hope for is honesty and that's exactly what I got. As result I will now use DS Plumbing from now on. A special thank you to Alex. DS Plumbing are lucky to have someone like that representing their company.

  Good communication with DS plumbing from setting up the appointment and letting me know the technician was on the way. They even provided a GPS link to the technicians vehicle so I could see their progress to the house.
  
  The work was done in a very tidy fashion. Garry gave me a quote before the work began and kept to it.
  
  Work was done in slightly over an hour. It is a labour intensive job with not much in the way of parts. My reason for 4 stars is a price of nearly $400 (before a $40 discount for being a previous customer) does seem high to me. Not having a comparative with other plumbing firms I can't say if this was the going rate or not.
  
  Many positive things about my experience with DS plumbing and very happy with the timeliness and quality of the work.
