“As soon as you walk into the restaurant you could imagine having been transported to the local Indian restaurants. The restaurant is an open concept kitchen. I was always very curious to see how Indian food is actually cooked and this is the first Indian restaurant with Open kitchen concept which is exceptional. The owners are courageous enough to have an open kitchen concept. Coming to the menu the prices are very low and the portion of food is a lot. This restaurant carries unique dishes which is very different from any other Indian restaurant in Ottawa. I went in with my two other colleagues on Wednesday afternoon and the service was exceptional. The server asked us if we are here for the first time and she explained us every item in the menu which is very rare in any Indian restaurant. I asked her for her recommendation and she said The butter chicken bowl is a star as it is very different from any other restaurants and it was completely true. The chicken was juicy and the texture of the sauce was creamy and delicious. It had a mix taste of sweet and spicy. Definitely a TREAT! Coming back for the Hakka Evenings.”
