“What a great experience! We dealt with Corine, she was so helpful. Taught us how to tie our canoe on the car and fed us all the tips and tricks and what to look for. She also gave us the safety kit needed for all the canoes. The canoe we rented is made of Fibre glass and quite light, it should be easy to portage with. She along with her husband answered my children's endless questions and equipped them with well sized life jackets. What I liked best about them was that they were all about safety first, even if it takes us a day longer to get back the canoe to them. I definitely encourage people to visit. Also, I can't believe I'm saying this but they had the cutest outhouse with posters and reading material :D. My kids were most excited by the outhouse.”

“I had my wedding reception at the new Carling Township Hall and it was absolutely perfect. The staff were very understanding with me and my many questions throughout the process of planning my wedding as I did it myself and really had no idea what I was doing. Anytime I called they made me feel like I was the most important person they were speaking with and always found the answer I needed. They went above and beyond to make my day special. The night before the wedding the staff were gracious with everyone involved. The day of my wedding everything was perfect. Our caterer loved the kitchen. Our guest enjoyed their time there and I really couldn’t imagine a better place to have a reception. Thank you Kevin, And Lisa for always taking my calls. “What an amazing week at Katawoda !!! I absolutely loved every second. They have so many fun things to do like fishing, kayaking, hiking and so much more ! Amazingly friendly staff and they are super helpful. The cottages are all clean and nicely kept, plus the lake is beautiful. Definitely a spot to take your family for a get away .The property is very well maintained, the owners clearly work very hard and put a big effort to keep it pleasant, clean, and well organized. I have been going there for 20 years, yes the cottages are rustic, but so nice to just sit and enjoy all the natural beauty of the area. You are only sleeping there....not living inside...get out and enjoy the great fishing, swimming, and walking trails. Beautiful roads for motorcycles as well in the area.”

“Love their furniture. We picked up our new table from them at their wood shop/warehouse in Parry Sound. Wow, that would be an understatement. The table is heavy that is for sure, and you can see the work that they had put into it. It is so smooth and silky to touch. We love the colors that came out. This is a table for our year round cottage and i am sure it will last a lifetime! We purchased this table from online, and Melissa and Sean walked us through the whole process through video chats, and sent us pictures. We loved how we could customize the base so our son who is in a wheelchair could comfortably sit with us at the table. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a well made solid wood furniture piece!”
