Its a small park with a small trail (1.5km), and you never get away from the sound of traffic, but its perfect for little (or old) legs to get out to explore a more natural environment. The one hill on the trail is not too steep. The interpretive signs are helpful and clever, although I don't know how the one at the top could know that the sun would be behind us as we read it. Spooky.
Small park, but beautiful. Lovely wooded park with wonderful paths. There are stops along the way with information, love learning about drumlins. And the fall colours are looking pretty fine right now.
Beautiful, relaxing ,park with 2 walking trail loops. Pet and family friendly. Bathrooms are open in the spring summer fall. There is a lovely picnic area for lunch or a great place to pop up a canvas and paint.
Directly off the highway, this park holds a lot of nostalgia and childhood memories. Nice place to have lunch and wander for an afternoon, the woods offers a short and long loop depending on what kind of distance you're willing to put in. Bathrooms and tables are available at this park. While the forest itself is beautiful, it leaves something to be desired in terms of a unique landscape - and while I've never had an issue with parking enforcement, it's expensive to park here.
Parking is $11.50, however the machine was not working today so we got to park for free. The trail is beautiful and we got some amazing nature shots. My daughter and I loved the information signs along the trail that gave us information about the trees, how the stones arrived in the area and other info about the local wildlife. Biggest top I have for novice or even older hikers (DON'T FORGET YOUR BUG SPRAY)! lol
