Been a while. Last time by boat. This time by car. Enjoyed a long walk from here along the canal past the lift locks to the swing bridge and back.

Took a tour from the Trent Severn Waterway Locks Tour Company, and it was great. Explanations were interesting and clear. A bar downstairs on the tour boat was well stocked, and all workers were friendly and helpful. Washrooms on board. CoVid rules were followed and we felt safer knowing everyone on the tour was double vaxxed. Enjoyed learning how the locks worked. You should go!

Very nice area to walk. Lock 21 is a lift lock. The history of it is really remarkable

Great experience with an amazing Captain and Lock Masters. So happy the weather was perfect today - thank you to the terrific crew who ran the ship practicing all the safety and covid measures.
