I had the best experience at McLeod's last week. Our new-to-us cottage came with an ultraviolet light system and no instructions. The excellent people at McLeod's took the time to walk me through the process of changing the light and filter, and answered all my questions. They were extremely helpful and super friendly. I highly recommend McLeod's!

Living all our life in the city, and then moving to a rural homer we were stumped as to why our water was coating our kettle and dishwasher with a layer of "'sludge" We looked online and were a bit put off by the cost and attention needed to running a softener. A neighbour recommended McLeod's water softener and I'm so glad they did. A rep called on us and explained how everything works and within 2 weeks we had our softener installed by a most pleasant and safety conscious tech. Since then our appliances are clean and "sludge" free, and what a difference with our shower water! To top it all, the softener basically looks after itself, and the cost of the softener and installation was less than some companys were asking just for the installation.
If you are thinking of getting a water softener I have no hesitation in recommending McLeod's.
