“We loved Yellowroof B&B in Bloomfield and really appreciated the owner's hospitality. The bedroom and bathroom were immaculate; the bathroom fully renovated. The breakfasts were delicious. We were able to use the pool and the living room. The owner explained everything very well. It was definitely a major highlight of our few days in Prince Edward County. We would not hesitate to recommend Yellowroof and will go again with great pleasure.”

“I stayed at the Hudson House recently in Prince Edward County and the property is absolutely gorgeous. The owners are very responsive and made sure that we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The house was very clean and the interiors tastefully done. The property is near the major points of interest such as wineries etc and easily accessible by road however once inside the house you also have a lot of privacy and feel the country ambiance. I would strongly recommend Hudson House to anyone who wants to get a real feel of staying in the county and enjoy everything that it has to offer.”

“So what can I say about this little gem I found last minute. First I was shocked with the cottages condition. Brand new inside and out. Unlike other cottages I have rented that are barely standing and stink of humidity the second you walk in. Non of that here. Beautiful inside and fully equipped with everything you need. Your own BBQ firepit and table outside. Seating area with lake view inside. Clean fresh and new. Alexia was an awesome host. At night they all had bonfires going on. Movies for the kids on a projector. Everyone seemed to know everyone there. Pet friendly. Will definitely return next year without a doubt. Good job guys. Keep up the good work.”

“We dropped by in September to pick up some wine and have lunch - staff were all friendly and helpful! Pizza was good (maybe a little pricey) and the outdoor dining area was spaced out from other tables and had a nice view overlooking the vineyard. The wine was great and we took home several bottles. Great visit overall”

“Loyalist Landing is an amazing Bed & Breakfast. The hosts, Gillian and Rob, are the kindest and hospitable people and very attentive to their guests. Upon arrival we were welcomed by Gillian and received a great tour of the house and yard. Our daughter was surprised by a plush puppy in her bed. A very thoughtful and appreciated welcome present. The Hillier Suite was perfect for our family. It is spacious and full of daylight and we valued the (absolutely silent) air conditioning. There are great farm to table restaurants within walking distance and the wrap around porch is fantastic to end the day and watch the fireflies. The breakfasts were truly spectacular and definitely the best breakfast I ever had. Rob is an amazing breakfast chef and Gillian's baking is out of this world. We are so grateful to Gillian and Rob and we are already looking forward to our next stay at the Loyalist Landing. Thank you!”

“Could not have asked for a better stay at The Empire Inn and Suites! When we arrived, the owner, Sabrina greeted us with a warm welcome. It was like we had known her for years. The room was absolutely beautiful, very spacious and clean. Sabrina was very helpful with providing us with suggestions of where to eat/shop/ site-see. The location is amazing with only an 8 minute walk to a local brewery and a 10 minute drive into town. What more do you need? Sabrina even surprised us with a bottle of champagne for our anniversary! We will definitely be back with family and friends so that they can have the same experience we did.”

“Just stayed from Aug 14-16. Great accommodation. Right on the Main Street of Bloomfield, handful of local shops and restaurants. Sandbanks was a quick 15 min drive. Covid-19 measures in place were abundant, plenty of hand sanitizer and I never felt uncomfortable interacting with hosts. Leia and Helena are super friendly and do a great job letting you know what's around in PEC and provide helpful info regarding business hours etc. If you're coming in high season it's imperative you make reservations or put your name down in wait list ASAP. Stayed in the Magnolia room with en-suite washroom, pleasant vintage room for 2! Coffee and tea available upstairs as well. Garden in the backyard is very peaceful, cross stitched in the garden for some downtime and recharge. Breakfast was phenomenal, I'm sure if Leia ran brunch service there would be a big lineup! Highly recommend staying at Nap N Nosh, especially since most business don't open until 10 AM to 12 PM it might be a bit of a challenge sorting out breakfast for yourself. “We stayed at the Century House Bloomfield with our two teen daughters in July 2018. We all enjoyed it thoroughly. It was very clean and our hosts Sandra and Ken were very friendly and offered suggestions on things to do in the area. We cannot leave out the breakfast! Both mornings were amazing. The frittata and fresh fruits were a perfect start to our day. The second morning was unbelievable as well. It was a large apple pancake/flan that was amazing. With fresh cut fruit to start with homemade granola and yogurt as well. The food alone well surpassed our expectations, but add in the accommodations and friendly hosts and this is place to enjoy. (If you enjoy gardening, they also have a beautiful garden out front to relax, meditate and enjoy)”

But now about the house, the breakfasts, the beds. Amazing. As if we were transported into the Chronicles of Narnia - Wardrobe. Magic roosters everywhere, you just can’t ignore them. So you start looking for them where they are not. And you find another. Breakfasts beyond expectation, and very comfortable beds.
