Jack Simcoe Bar & Grill

Stopped in for a midweek lunch. The place was bright and welcoming, with people enjoying beers at the bar, sitting in the booths, and others waiting for takeout. The service was friendly, lots of tvs to watch the game, and the washroom clean. The food arrived without much of a wait and was delicious (and reasonably priced)!
Will def return to try more of their varied menu. 👌

The food was fantastic! We had the chicken curry and meatball sandwich. Far exceeded our expectations. Would definitely recommend.

Have tried Jack Simcoe twice, the first time was a Friday night just after opening they were slammed so service was slow, but the food was good. So decided to go back Saturday Feb.18, not so busy…the service was quick and friendly however our fish &chips and chicken Parmesan were both really over-cooked and dried out.

Stopped in for a chicken caesar wrap and a pint. Food came very quick and staff were all friendly. Also got some onion rings that were great. Would recommend

well i’m always open minded for new places in town. firstly was unable to place a take out order over the phone. ( not enough staff maybe) and the phone goes to vm.
so let’s go there and place the order.
order placed 715 pm. “ it will be 30 to 45 mins.” ok so go to a few errands and return.. oh sorry , order not ready. please give us 10 mins..
go back in after 10 mins , oh sorry order is not ready. we seem to have lost the order. 1:20 hr now. and still no food.
i understand it’s new and it’s a small town, but i think it’s not asking to much to have your ducks in order when you open the doors , in order to make a good impression for your new business and perspective clientele ??

well , the food was very very tasty and very reasonably priced.
portions were good( poutine is the only portion on the skimpy side)
i will try again , the take out option, and i’m sure the dine in option be fine !
