“Have you ever wandered off the 401 just past Oshawa? You should go North a little and discover Clarington, Bowmanville, Newcastle and of yes the Clarington Museum and Archive, specifically Waverly House. When you take the virtual tour and see the bathroom, but it doesn't quite click. Point your mouse through the door and then click. Voila inside the bathroom. This piece of early Canadian property is stunning, check out the photos and check out the outdoor shots I did. Now jump in the car and head out.”

“This is a gorgeous Georgian Home and Museum right in the heart of Whitby. Many people may remember this house from its days at Cullen Gardens. The Home was originally built by one of Whitby's early settlers, Jabez Lynde between 1811-1813. Jabez lived there with his wife Clarissa and their children. The house has been lovingly restored to how it would have looked in about the 1850's. The Whitby Historical Society have done an outstanding job interpreting the very exciting story of the Lynde family and other early settlers in the area. The house itself features several original pieces for the Lynde family as well as collections donated to the society over the years. The result is amazing. 8 rooms inside the house are decorated with many rare and historical artifact and treasures. Each Christmas and during select special events, the house comes alive with Historical Interpreters depicting what life would have been like for the Lynde Family and others during both the Georgian and Victorian Era's In addition to this, The Whitby Historical Society has also opened a lovely store called the Warren General Store named after a member of the Lynde Family. Inside they have numerous different Victorian-Inspired gifts and Artistic works for sales. All the staff and volunteers are all very friendly, helpful and professional and I love going to see the museum every few months as they continue to uncover stories of the Lynde families past which have allowed the museum to grow and prosper. This is a must-see attraction the next time you are in Whitby. I highly recommend going to check it out. You won't be disappointed!!!”

“Your experience is HEAVILY determined by when you’re going to check out the changing leaves. You’ll either see a few changing colours or a wide array of colours to feast your eyes upon. Timing is key. Act quickly. Also, bring your own water and snacks. They have a carriage that sells some, but why pay when you can bring your own. EDIT: They have responded that what you pay for refreshments and souvenirs goes back to the upkeep of the train. The choice is yours, consumers!”

“Used this shop this year for a second deer of ours. Service was fantastic and the final product was superb. The showroom was spectacular and and the quality of work was second to none. Junior immediately made me feel at ease and I knew I could he trusted with our prize. The piece was completed in less than 12 weeks! I am proud to hang this mount in our home for all to see! I would recommend Artistry in Motion Taxidermy to anyone.”
