Lettuce Love Cafe Oakville

Absolutely delicious food. After many vegan/“fresh” restaurants with frankly boring flavours, this place really wowed me. My lunch was full of creative and satisfying flavours and textures, and it would have taken NO convincing to have had me come right back for dinner.

This restaurant is a MUST to try. Once you step in you'll notice it's very nice, clean and inviting. The staff are incredibly friendly and courteous, and the food is top notch both in taste and quality of ingredients. On this particular occasion I had the pancakes and I can say they were some of the tastiest I've ever had! Oh, and the Green Warrior Smoothie.. unreal. Kudos to the kitchen staff.

Despite all this good, I have to give 4 stars and not 5 because we were asked to order before we had even been seated, which is okay, but then we also had to pay and when the debit machine asked for a tip it was definitely awkward considering we had only been inside the restaurant for 2 minutes.
Also, the maple syrup and whipped cream for our pancakes came on the side in plastic containers. Personally, when I think of veganism I think of environmental sustainability, and I think that if we're dining in we could of had glass containers from which to dispense our maple syrup from, and the whipped cream would have been fine simply on the side of the plate without a container.

I love this restaurant, and I want it to do better, so I hope my criticisms aren't taken too harshly. Will definitely be coming back to Lettuce Love and thanks for providing the community with amazing vegan food!

Let me start out by saying, I'm not vegan. I'm not even vegetarian. But I was craving a good hearty salad and thought I'd give it a try. It was sooooo good! I was worried it may be dry and boring as some salads can be. Not. At. All. I had the Mega salad and it was really tasty! The avocado lime dressing was delicious. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I want to try some of their other dishes before I make my final decision. But I definitely recommend it and I'll definitely be back.

Great food, same as other location! Not as rustic as Burlington location. The decoration and atmosphere is modern with a good sized counter for serving. Personally, I would really like to see some warming winter smoothies and bowls instead of the usual cooling summer fare. Thank you for spreading the love. I'm so glad they opened a location next to my favourite guitar shop!
