“I could go on and on about all that they do for the community. We live in Oak Park and see firsthand all that film.ca does for the community. We could talk about the fundraisers, the food drives, charity contributions, programs for kids, ticket angels, t he phenomenal parties, and more. But, I think the thing that just makes film.ca stand out for me most is the manner in which they conduct their business at the theater. When I was growing up, we didn’t have a lot of money and going to the movie theatre was a real treat. Nowadays going to a major Cineplex is not the same. There’s a lot of flash but no connection. But when I go to film.ca and bring my kids, it takes me back to when I was a child of the 80s. Walking in, and having personal interest and personal investment from the staff makes a huge difference. Everyone is always so warm and friendly. The place is always clean. People are ready to help you and provide personal service. I am now able to bring my family to a place where we can watch a movie together that feels as special for me now and them as it did to me when I was a child. What they’re able to do at film.ca is absolutely magical.”

“Epic experience but never get my food right and once movie start no workers around and I'm not leaving during the movie. Then argue you after the fact online. But great experience overall just get a receipt once ordering food. FOOD IS AMAZING THOSE plus prices aren't actually that bad.”

“Perfect for a date or family outing in the summer. Love it! Movie quality is pretty low definition and the picture quality won't look like an indoor theatre. The screen might feel small if you are farther than a few rows back from the screen....but remember this place is for the experience and not for the actual movie quality. I've gone many times and will go back in the future as usual. Recommended if you love movies and the outdoors.”
