It's currently being restored by the Canadian government
It was a good scenic place to visit .The fort is closed and we can not go inside just the outside view is okay. The beach near buy and golf course is good for scenic pitcures .... photography lovers...????????????????????????????????????????????
Neat little place. But small. No access inside the building. They could do more with the site. But neat to see.
It's an awesome fort that the kids and i both loved. It's great that it's just there to explore. The kids loved running up and down the earthwork hills, and exploring the tunnel and bunkers. I loved it too!
I understand why the fort is locked up, but I still wish I could have seen inside.
So much history, and yet there is no one here! I came here with my mom and found this site empty and abandoned. A perfect place to explore and take pictures, and there is a hidden passageway to the lake. Be careful as there is a sharp drop by the cliff. To get here you have to walk through the golf course, which is why most people don't know about it. Follow the path and stay off the golf course to avoid any issues. If you find yourself in Niagara-on-the-Lake, be sure to check this place out as it is a hidden gem!
