“Popped in for a quick lunch and drink. We sat on the back patio under a tent which surprisingly was cool considering it was a very hot day. We started off with Caesar’s to drink. My wife and I split a shepherd’s pie and fisherman’s wharf (fish & chips, coconut shrimp and upgraded garlic Parmesan fries). Everything was as you’d expect from an Irish Pub. Our server was new on the job but was friendly and made some decent recommendations including Caesars Sundays! Would definitely pop in again for a quick bite/drink.”

“Visited Chili Jiao (prior to COVID) while in town for the wine festival. The staff are very friendly and the food is extremely good. The price is reasonable and the portions are good. Some hotels are simply lodging for an evening - the Pillar & Post is not. It is a destination unto itself. A high end experience for any traveler.”

“Probably the tastiest little Sammich I've ever had! The fresh made bread is a chimney of cheese and bursting with flavour. Succulent meats and veggies loaded into the soft inner shell of the bread and a nice slab of zesty mayo. The pretty ladies working there are super helpful and provide insight into what you'd like to get if you're unsure. After eating my first unit I went right back in and bought another!”

“Visited for brunch and it was an amazing, experience! To start the waitress was fantastic, very friendly and helpful! I had the omelette of the day, ham, sun dried tomatoes and cheddar, it was delicious. All the meals are served with a fried little potato cup, meat and toast so tasty! “Took a chance and visited the Treadwell without a reservation. How lucky could we get - we were seated at the kitchen counter and witnessed a wonderful "floor show" presented by Jason Williams and his apprentices. The presentation and preparation of the food was within touching (and "smelling") distance as we watched so many meals being assembled and distributed. The interaction between Jason and his apprentices was a real treat and worth admission alone. Portion sizes were more than ample, and the emphasis on local produce was duly noted. Just a heads up to the apprentices, we don't really have sticky toffee pudding for breakfast in the north of England, but after enjoying yours, maybe we should.”

“We were here for dinner prior to our Triathlon. I had the pizza and my wife had the ravioli. The portions were generous and we both enjoyed our dinner tremendously. It was raining when we were there so we sat inside but had a window view and could people watch along the main street of Niagara on the Lake. I would recommend for a nice romantic place to eat if you are not in a rush.”

“This is a Fascinating place to visit with the old style of architecture and access to a wide variety of places to eat and drink and a lot of things to do. The Fort George site is well worth visiting, especially if you have children with lots to see and very helpful staff. The horse drawn tour may be considered expensive by some, but we thought it was worth taking and very enjoyable.”

“Get the Seafood Tower!!!! Available 5-9 pm in the lounge- lobster, escargot, scallops, mussels, oysters, etc.... so very yummy. Salmon is incredible. For dessert, order the creme brûlée!
