I would like to take a moment and thank Ian, Guy and the team from McKean everyone were extremely professional and helpful durning our renovation work. Right from the beginning Ian listened to what I needed and worked with me to develop a concrete plan. I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism and his honesty. While the work was being completed Guy was helpful and supportive during the changes. He worked super hard to ensure that everyone in my home was also professional and Went the extra mile. I can’t think McKean enough for the work that they did in my home looking forward to working with you again in a couple years.

Working with Ryan and Guy was a pleasure. They listened to what work we required to be completed to our home, reviewed all the details of what was going to have to be done and provided us with a fair estimate. The individuals who completed the work were excellent! The estimate provided was bang on with no other hidden fees or charges. I had my leak damage repaired under my French Doors in the kitchen, new siding installed on an exterior window, drywall repaired in one of the rooms from a window leak, new flooring on the entire second level and minor repair to a ceiling. Everything was completed in a professional manner and everything looks awesome! I will not hesitate to use McKeen Construction for my next major project which will most likely be replacing my roof next spring. Thanks once again guys!

Ryan and the McKeen Construction team did an outstanding job transforming my dreary basement apartment into a bright, spacious, comfortable home. The end result was exactly how I had envisioned it. They offered alternatives to some of my designs that actually worked out much better. They were very patient with me, answering all of my many questions, and putting my mind at ease. Ian worked diligently with me to stay within my budget, clearly outlining any changes for my approval before implementing the work order. His guidance was greatly appreciated. Drew was my Rock. He was in constant contact with me throughout the whole process. His product knowledge and ease of explanation was a great comfort to me. His time and attention to every detail amazed and delighted me. And then there was Tyson, Carpenter Extraordinaire! Tyson was pro active in all of his projects. He quickly identified any areas that needed to be addressed, and quickly resolved the issue. He listened intently to my requests and with approval from either Ian or Drew, followed through immediately. Tyson thoroughly cleaned each work area, inside and outside, prior to leaving each day. By the end of the project, I felt as if they were all a part of my Family. Ryan, it is obvious that your Recruitment and Selection process is based on your own sense of Integrity, and excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills. Your Team is organized, analytical, methodical, focused and resourceful. They are accurate in the performance of their assigned duties by being attentive to instructions and detail. McKeen Construction helped us with a kitchen renovation. They did a great job, always kept us updated and informed about the schedule, and regularly checked in to make sure things were on track and done the right way. We would strongly recommend them for any home renovation job.

Ryan and his team remodeled our two bathrooms (which involved replacing the floors, walls, shower, counter-top, sinks, vanity, drywall) and repaired other miscellaneous items in our home. We were comforted by and confident in Ryan since our first meeting given his expertise, his ability to appreciate and understand our needs, his communication skills, responsiveness, and detailed presentation and tracking of the costs. He applied no pressure throughout the project, helped us identify “blind-spots” in our original designs (during which he offered us feasible alternatives), prioritized quality workmanship, and displayed an abundance of patience with us despite some changes that occurred during the project. Following the COVID restrictions, Ryan returned to personally participate in the construction work to help close the project given the delay caused by COVID. It is clear that Ryan is a proud owner and takes ownership of his work and that of the contractors. The time and personal service he offered us made it feel as if we were his only customer!
