The Broken Gavel

I heard about this place from someone I had just met as he heard about my love of burgers. I will say... 100% worth the drive..If you're in the area of Binbrook, St.Catherines, Welland or up for a beautiful country drive from Hamilton. Please go. The portions were huge. I had 5 fresh cut fries and could barely finish my Court Reporter. My husband had the Degalbbo. He reported it was way too big and coming from a 275Lb guy that's saying a lot. He had the meatball version. We're going home with leftovers. If I had 1 criticism..and this is my personal choice I wish the burger was medium well and not well done. But that didn't even stop me. Well done 👏 we will be back to try something new.

Great food. Every time. Service is always quick and friendly, and their pick-up setup is nice and safe. Definitely worth the trip to Fenwick!

Absolutely hands down our all time favourite restaurant, it is so cozy and the food is always amazing!! The service is second to none. We celebrated our anniversary there this week and it was also our first time out since the lockdown was lifted and they did not disappoint. The table was decorated with a little something special which was a very nice gesture and dinner was delicious. Thank you for helping us celebrate our special day!! We can’t wait until the patio opens (:
