Great place to stock up on clothes fairly cheap, but you have to watch prices and quality - I regularly find stained or holey clothing, but find good pieces too. Do not recommend selling to them though, they don't really go through the stuff and turn away a lot of quality stuff despite stocking store with questionable stuff. Frustrating and a waste of time.
Honestly I have nothing but great things to say about Once Upon a Child I think the concept behind it is just fantastic. Honestly to get name brand clothing for your children who are going to grow out of it sometimes within months as kids grow so quickly it's really nice to have a store like this. All of the gently used clothing has always been great quality zero stains a lot of it has been brand new with tags even still on it! Keep up the good work guys and gals!
I live in Toronto but prefer to go to this store instead of the 3 stores in Toronto. This store is much larger than the ones in Toronto. The staff is way more friendly and helpful (I've told the management twice). They have a large selection of used toys, clothes, books, etc. They also have some new/unused items.
They have special liquidation events where you can get things even cheaper than their regular sale price.
They make sure whatever you bring in is clean (No smudges or wear-and-tear). No batteries are included in their toys. They won't take clothes that don't sell well.
They give loyalty points (1 point for every $20 bought/sold to them). It used to be that 20 points gets you 20% off your entire purchase but in Aug 2017 when they converted to use Vincinity, it now takes 40 points to get 20% off.
