“I recently had both endoscopy and gastroscopy at the clinic. My experience was good; the staff were efficient and caring. The doctors were fine. However, in the time of COVID, I was not comfortable with their precautions. In the prep and recovery room the patient beds were spaced barely an arms length apart, with curtain in between. The single washroom for patient use was not sanitized once during my 2 hours there. Hand sanitizer was not readily available. Most concerning to me was that the nurses & doctors had ordinary ill fitting paper masks, no N95. One doctor had a full bushy beard under his mask. Though the clinic and people were fine, I was nervous about their safety precautions.”
