“Great place to walk. I brought my dog. Bring water for your dog, I didn’t see any access to the lake. I love the boardwalk. A beautiful view of the water and long enough walk which leads into open area with play area for kids. Lots of huge trees to sit in the shade and take in the beauty, or have a picnic. Very peaceful park. Very well kept and clean.”

“Went there for lunch. Perhaps the cool, clean modern look of the restaurant and the beautiful, inviting patio made the actual dining experience more disappointing by comparison. It began well. We were welcomed, promptly seated, given menus, a cold, pleasantly flavoured glass of water and a glass of wine shortly after. I ordered the corn tortillas with grilled fish offered on the menu but was told that only battered fish were available. I instead ordered the croquettes from the tapas menu and, to the credit of our server, was advised that it was unlikely to be sufficient as there were only three small croquettes so...I ordered the baguette with tomato, ham and cheese - assuming it would be grilled and that it would arrive at the same time as my fellow diner's dish. You know what they say about assumptions... it arrived quite a bit later and was cold...a cold baguette with cold tomato sauce over smoked ham and three rectangles of white cheese. The server assured me that this was the way the dishwasher served and, when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the dish, suggested that I order something different. Fair enough. He said he would be back in a minute to take my new order but he did not return for at least 10 minutes. By that time, it was too late to order another dish or to have my original ordet put under the broiler. On the plus side, the cheese on the baguette and the accompanying olives were delicious...and the food was served on very pretty dishes.”

“I have been a long time client of Tyler's & he never disappoints! His style, work ethic, & professionalism is nothing short of fantastic. I just got my most recent tattoo done at Carousel a few weeks ago. This was my first time in this store, as I go where my artist does. However, I am overjoyed at how great this store is! It's superb. It's definitely one of the cleanest & most professional shops I've ever been in. The way they secure your dates for appointments is very quick & precise. I am very please at not only it's professionalism, but it's comfortable atmosphere. The feel of the store makes it quite easy to converse with other artists & customers. I thoroughly enjoyed my first (but, not my last!) visit to Carousel Tattoo! As someone with 13 tattoos (currently, lol), I know what I am looking for as far as the look & feel of a proper tattoo shop. Carousel does NOT disappoint. Highly recommend!”

“I stopped by Satori during a visit to Canada. They did a nice job with my dip manicure and it’s holding up well after two weeks. Lots of compliments. A major disappointment I had is that I requested a pink tint on my nail beds with my French manicure but didn’t receive that. I requested a simple look and want to be super satisfied every time I look at my nails so I definitely would appreciate my request being honored if I return on a future visit to Canada.”

“We arrived by boat on August 17 2019 and walked into town. We booked a reservation for 8pm. We did our best to make it on time....... but we were late. They kept our reservation for us and put us close to the live music. The music was awesome and the atmosphere was great. The food was fantastic as well. We did order a cheese appetizer just to find out that they ran out of the cheese. No big deal we simply ordered the rice ball appetizer. This is the only reason for the 4 star rating. We had a great time and will return on our next visit to Port Dalhousie.”

“Amazing antique carousel. The attention to detail on the animals is incredible. Who can beat the cost of $0.5 per rider? We bought 20 rides for $1. Just to note that the card is only valid for the existing season (so 2019). We had no problem using up the rides with the four of us. Just note that there are some animals that do not go up and down, rather, are stationary. It truly did not matter to us. We will definitely be back.”

Day of I was nervous that something would fall through- JR was patient and understood the stress related to moving. I was also incredibly impressed with the respect that he showed to his employees.
