I've gotten my hair cut and coloured a few times by Margaret, and she is incredible! She is so professional and talented. I have textured hair (I'd say between a 2b and 3a?), and she is able to shape and balance my hair so it looks amazing styled or natural! She's also very helpful and patient when it comes to figuring out what colours are possible for my hair while maintaining its integrity, and she's honest enough to tell me exactly what will work and what won't! Also, the space is incredibly clean, and everyone working at the salon takes masking and sanitizing very seriously, so I always feel very safe coming here. :)”

Finally, a stylist that actually listens, I have always been so scared to cut my curly hair because of frizz and how short it gets when dry. However, I could tell Ovik really cares about what he does with the way he took his time and didn't rush anything, making sure I walked out the door with the best possible version of my curly hair! On top of the great care he took of my thick curly hair, I was surprised how affordable it was and how easy he is to talk to (I felt like I could talk to him for hours!) 1000% recommend to anyone looking for a new fresh look by a stylist who actually cares about them and their hair. “Easily the best barber I’ve ever been to. My best haircuts have been from him, and the quality put in is only matched by Downtown salons that’ll do the same or worse work for $60+. Haircuts are cheap ($20) regardless of how long he works on it. Very talkative, friendly, and high quality work is in this barber shop. Since it’s known that he’s really good, you’ll need to book an appointment. He learns you personally, and after a couple visits will know exactly what you want and how to present it in the best way possible.”

Everyone I interacted was incredibly friendly and lovely and had such lovely personalities. The salon itself is very bright and clean and fully equipped.
