The Mississauga Academy of Martial Arts

Where do I even begin? There are so many positive things about this place it's hard to list them all. I've been attending the dojo for a while now and every time I enter it feels like I'm at home. The staff there are always welcoming and supportive and they're experienced teachers and martial artists as well. The place is also consistently kept clean and well maintained. Every day you come to this dojo is a new day of learning. Out of all of the things you can experience in life, this is one you don't want to miss.

Not all Martial Arts dojos are created equal. There are so many, too many, McDojos out there. If they offer your child a black belt in 3 year or less just walk away. Our two daughters have been going to AMA Mississauga North for 10 and 12 years, respectively. We invested in AMA because of their great leadership, with both men and women in the highest of positions, focus of traditional martial arts, and the immense care they take with positively guiding and teaching. This is not solely about learning to defend yourself in a fight, but rather becoming the best version of yourself. AMA Mississauga instructors focus on the spirt, the mind, and the body. My wife and I know in our hearts that our teenage daughters are the amazing people they are, straight A students, contributing back to the world around them, with great friends, in a large part because of the great program and leadership at AMA Mississauga. I highly recommend AMA. It's more than just Martial Arts, the environment is truly about making you a better person in all aspects of life. Great instructors, amazing and friendly environment, very family oriented.

Highly recommended, my 2 son's are members here 10 and 5. The experienced friendly staff really know their stuff. Kids come out of class always happy. We have been members for many years.
From discipline, structure, manners, respect and self defence. Many different classes and camps. Great for summer camps as well
