Food was good, service was a bit slow even though it was empty and they knew we're coming with a relatively large group. Wanted to pay earlier and leave a bit before everyone because I had to be somewhere, but was told "not to worry" and they'll bring the bill right over and waited another 10 minutes for that...
Only reason I'm not giving it below 4 stars is because I've been here before and service was better, although we were only 4 people at the time.

The best Italian around GTA! The food is perfect and I felt in Italy with the decor and atmosphere of the place. Sebastian is friendly and attentive. I recommend this restaurant, for sure!

We came at lunch time mid-week and were greeted with exceptional service by the owner, who was attentive in just the right measure and willing to accommodate specific requests. I had the lasagne, which was very tasty and prepared in the traditional style.

Highly recommended for a local, family-run Italian feel.

I attended a birthday gathering at this restaurant. The menu was prearranged and there were about 35 of us.This was my first time at this establishment for dinner. The food was good but the kitchen to table service was terrible. My soup was delivered to me on what seemed to be a salad plate. It was flat with a slight rimmed edge that you could not properly scoop your soup onto your spoon. Some of the guests received a proper soup bowl but many of us did not. We did not receive our main course until almost 45 minutes later with the plates coming 1 at a time most of the time. Our table was last to be served and 3 of us did not receive our plate until the first person at our table had already finished their meal. And then, it only arrived with the meat and a few vegetables. Others with the same meal got pasta and potatoes as well. We had to call a waiter to bring us the potatoes and pasta and then we were almost finished our meal before the potatoes finally arrived. To give them the benefit of the doubt, they may not have the experience or equipment to properly serve a larger group, but this should have been relayed when the initial reservation was made.

One of the best Italian restaurant in Markham. If you are going to splurge a night out or a special occasion, please keep this place in mind ! Service is great , food is amazing , atmosphere is magnificent! Can not wait to visit again !
