You will not feel being rushed through the appointment. I have been seeing her more than 8 years. “Dr. Siva is one of the best family physicians I have known. His diagnosis is bang-on. He knows his stuff. He is very polite and spends time with you, explaining whatever you need to clarify. He will rarely prescribe antibiotics or drugs with harsh side effects unless it is absolutely necessary. He is one of those rare to find honest doctors. So don't bother going to him for a sick note or prescription if you aren't or weren't really sick. The only downside is that the clinic is too cluttered. Too many posters, notices and monitors crudely clutter the walls and windows. Too much run down, junk furniture in the waiting area and rooms. Wait times are also too long. A number system with 15 minutes slots would sure help improve efficiency. Some better/ newer chairs are desperately needed in the waiting area and rooms.”

“I recently took Maria's prenatal breastfeeding class over zoom. I am pregnant with my second child and breastfeeding did not work out well my first time around. I felt over whelmed and like I was "under performing" (I have never felt this way before in anything I have taken on) I got assistance the best I could however live in Northern Ontario and would have to travel an hour to meet professionals in person. While going through Maria's class I got a ton more information that I didn't have the first time. I started to realize where I went wrong and what I can do differently this time. It was completely supportive and non-judgmental and gave me concrete valid information. I cannot say enough great things about Maria and the information she shared with me. I feel better prepared and wish I had done this before my first child. Breastfeeding can be very hard for some women (I was one of them), it also comes very natural to others... and good for them but we are all very different. Every birth is different, every mother is different and every baby is different... not to mention our different levels of support with friends and family. I truely feel that getting the information ahead of time really does help troubleshoot when its 3am, your by yourself and your on the verge of tears trying to do what's best for your baby. Thank you Maria! I think I will do way better this time.”
