Jungle Land

Address: 1033 Edgeley Blvd, Concord, ON L4K 0B9, Canada

Point of interest Establishment Tourist attraction

“Great place to bring the kids after school. Prices have gone up compared to 2 years ago - but what hasn’t? Still reasonably priced for 2 hours of healthy exercise fun, in a safe & clean environment. We arrived just after 4pm this Friday afternoon, there were around 20 kids, and a dozen adults on the sofas. The Staff were very attentive, telling kids not to run, don’t climb up slides. A parent told staff about drizzle on the trampoline, and she immediately cleaned up with spray and wipe. Good job! Washroom was very clean and “dry”, like it hadn’t been used this afternoon. At 6m, a couple of party rooms opened up, and more kids showed up - and it became much louder. Accordingly, if you want to chill and relax, come immediately after school before the crowd shows up.”

“Its not great because its school but this school is okay. I like online school because I do better online when people aren't always talking and distracting me like in real school. Again it's still school so its not great but its okay. The homework I for some reason like that we get so much homework because It makes me more prepared for the next grade. Another thing is the amount of screen time. That is a problem because its not healthy to stare at a screen for like 7 hours but either than that its an ok school. I give it a 5/10 but they don't let you do that so ill just put the score here: 5/10”

Point of interest Establishment Tourist attraction Food Bar

“I had my wedding reception here and it was the most amazing time! The event space was so picturesque, especially by the pond with the beautiful willow trees and the stones. The staff really went out of their way to make it a special day for me and my wife. Everybody loved the delicious food and the great service. The signature cocktails were a great and popular addition to our reception. I am so grateful towards Michael and Shauna who made everything possible. Thank you Willow Springs again!”

Whitchurch-Stouffville Strawberry Festival

Address: Stouffville Memorial Park, Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON L4A 1G5, Canada

Point of interest Establishment Tourist attraction

“It's not really about strawberries, so I don't think the picture of the strawberries is very relevant! If you have kids, not bad. It's your typical country fair, except the last time (summer 2019) it was too busy. Countless big and small businesses had tables/booths. Some free features for children inflatable games and bouncy castle) but you have to pay for most of the rides.”

Sunflower Fields of Markham

Address: 10378 ON-48, Markham, ON L3P 3J3, Canada

Point of interest Establishment Tourist attraction

“A beautiful place to take pictures. My husband and I arrived there around 10:15am on a Saturday , not a lot of people. I think it’s better to come at noon or in afternoon as you can see in my pictures the coronals of the sunflowers are still facing down ground in morning. Some farm staff are very friendly and willing to offer help on taking pictures. They also have mobile toilets. You probably want to stay there for about a hour”

Richmond Hill David Dunlap Observatory

Address: 123 Hillsview Dr, Richmond Hill, ON L4C 1T3, Canada

Point of interest Establishment Tourist attraction

“As I live nearby it’s a regular walking spot. Love the observatory tower and the surrounding green space, offers nice views in all four seasons; the tower and the building recently renovated. Avoid walking by yourself and with small pets in darkness as there are coyotes in the woods. Park has a few benches also.”

Leviathan

Address: 1 Canada's Wonderland Drive, Maple, ON L6A 1S6, Canada

“It's Canada's Wonderland man. Quite possibly the best amusement park in Canada. Not much to be said here.”

Uplands Golf & Ski Club

Address: 46 Uplands Ave, Thornhill, ON L4J 1K2, Canada

Point of interest Establishment Tourist attraction

“I have played Uplands many times over the past few years. I haven't had very consistent experience - sometimes good, sometimes meh. Good: Easy location to get to from Toronto. Easy to get a tee time, always seems to have availability. Although only a 9 hole course, it has decent length on a few holes and a good variety of uphill, downhill, long, short, etc. Meh: They struggle to stay on schedule. Have waited up to 30-40 mins past my scheduled tee time to get on the course. Some of the carts are pretty rough, which is even worse since the cart cost us more than the green fee ($32 for 9 holes, but $38 for 2 people to share a cart?). Walkable, but most people take a cart. Perpetually under construction. Summary: Uplands is usually our go-to once all the 18 hole courses are booked up and we just want to get out somewhere.”

Mighty Canadian Minebuster

Address: 1 Canada's Wonderland Drive, Maple, ON L6A 1S6, Canada

Point of interest Establishment Tourist attraction

“Mighty Canadian Minebuster isn't a particularly forceful ride, but it makes up for it in its wooden charm and scenic ride. Dipping and diving over and under water park slides on gentle slopes is fun. Some of the drops are steep, and the unbanked turns are forceful. My favorite part is the big spiral at the end which even has a tunnel. For a smooth ride, pick a seat in the middle row of one of the three row cars, preferably near the front of the train. This ride is good for little ones wanting to get into the big rides, and also good if you're nostalgic for classic out and back woodies of the 70s and 80s.”

Behemoth

Address: 1 Canada's Wonderland Drive, Maple, ON L6A 1S6, Canada

Point of interest Establishment Tourist attraction

“Well, the Behemoth was... Let's just say average. It is tall and fast, but it's boring. Like mix it up. The Behemoth is something I ride at the start, It's the same thing with the Leviathan. Both of those are for beginner coaster enthusiasts. But overall, it's a good ride.”

Sharon Temple National Historic Site and Museum

Address: 18974 Leslie St, Sharon, ON L0G 1V0, Canada

Point of interest Establishment Tourist attraction

“The Sharon Temple is located on beautiful grounds and has a rich history. I call it our own little Pioneer Village up north: not as extensive, but similar. I have had the privilege of meeting the staff who provided a supportive environment for my daughter who worked there over the last couple of years. It's a great site for a picnic, wedding photos, or just a trip out. They also host concerts and other special events. Definitely worth exploring. Be sure to check out the chicken coupe with the quirky name, "Fluffy Butt Hut."”

Sunrise Cedar Valley Farms

Address: 16688 Kennedy Rd, Newmarket, ON L3Y 4W1, Canada

Point of interest Establishment Tourist attraction

“Great place with beautiful sunflowers to take pictures of, pet friendly too. Must check out their pond, there’s water lilies that are blooming that you have to see!”
