Canadian Tire

I enjoy shopping locally at Canadian Tire in Arnprior. The products sold are excellent quality. I am however disappointed that CT doesnt offer any 'senior discounts' or senior discount weekly days as offered by other local shops here in Arnprior.

Yesterday I went into the store to pick up something, while I was there, one of their employees by the name of Murray came to ask if I needed any help. At the time, I was looking at some clothing, he was kind enough to let me know that the particular item I was looking at would be going on sale in the next couple of weeks. When it came to the actual item I went in for in the first place, not only did he find me the product, he knew there was a cheaper one in storage so he had it brought down for me. Exceptional customer service with a smile :)

Canadian tire is a great place to go if you know what it is your looking for or its automotive as it is easy to find the automotive staff only complaint is that their staff seemly only know a small section of the store each and can't really help up if your asking for something thats not in their section in that case H&H is the place to go as unless your dealing with a new staff member their staff are knowledgeable in the entirety of the store

I went in for an oil change and was a bit late for the appointment and they were so helpful! Gave me a whole rundown of my car checkup along with the oil change and very friendly service! 100% recommend!

Went in to buy a certain fan and had trouble finding it. The Sales Associate was very helpful in trying to locate one for me and we found it in the "As Is" area. On sale, half price, because the box was damaged quite a bit. I was assured that there was nothing wrong with it. Ok.
Up at the cash, the cashier emphasized the fact that it was a "Final Sale". Not knowing if the fan actually worked or not, this worried me. I asked if we could plug it in somewhere to test it. She informed me that she could not do this. We were at the Customer Service Desk - surely there was an outlet to test this?! No.
So, on blind faith I took this fan home and plugged it in. I was extremely relieved that it worked.
Very thankful to the Sales Associate but really not happy with the service from the cashier.
