“Such a great addition to the Ottawa Valley. Kayak, ebikes and SUP rentals for the summer. Kicksleds, ebikes and snowshoes for winter. They have a try before you buy option which is great. Paddle nights every Thursday to get you out on the water at different locations. Great way to meet people. Owners are wonderful people. Shop and location is perfect for the area. Best sunglasses around. Highly recommend checking them out.”

“Our family stayed here the last few nights and immensely enjoyed ourselves. Unfortunately there was an accidental trailer fire that caused quite the commotion. I would like to send HUGE gratitude to the owners and staff for the way they handled the situation. With the potential for the fire to spread, the owner and staff went door to door to knock on every campers' door. He was calm but direct advising that there was a fire, that the authorities had been notified, and that we should be alert incase we needed to evacuate. He was concerned first and foremost with his customers safety and well being. While several campers panicked, I overheard staff calmly and patiently explaining how staying calm would benefit everyone while also helping to direct campers to safety. Never mind the fact that the washrooms were spotless, the beach was beautiful, the people were friendly, that they have a boat launch, a beach with horse shoes and other activities in a gorgeous setting -- the fact that the owner and staff demonstrated that the customer and customer service is their number one priority far outweighs anything else. I applaud Calabogie Camping for an amazing job and will be going back for sure. I should add that no-one was injured and the fire was put out quickly by the fire fighters. I hope the owner and staff appreciate that this was a total fluke accident and not because of something they did. Thank you again Calabogie Camping!!”

“Hi my name is Paula,I have MS (multiple sclerosis ). I am limited to some activities, that I had in the past been very independent. Just recently my grandmother took a turn for the worse (she was 92) . She lived at the Cobden nursing home. My husband due to business obligations was unable to drive me . I could probably have driven myself , but fatigue being my #1 nemesis, I didn't want to chance the drive home. A friend suggested to call Calabogie Home support. I didn't think I would qualify for their help. But this service is not only for seniors but also for people with disabilities. I phoned and was set for the next Monday. I was picked up at my door . The very friendly gentleman helped me into his truck and stored my walker in the back. I had a very warmfelt visit with granny,after a couple of hours it was time for me to go, after visiting with my uncle. My drive was waiting patiently for me . And brought me home. The reason I am writing this message is ,2 days later granny pssed away ,and I was able to spend some private time with her,due to Calabogie Home support people . I won't mention his (driver) or the nice lady who answers the phone and my many questions. But I will mention their kindness. Thank you both for giving me the opportunity to see my grandmother , her and I were able to have one last visit . Bless you both .”
