“Our family had a wonderful time this weekend staying at this beautiful chalet and took in lots of fun winter activities! We stayed in the loft and it was perfect for our family of four. Kendra went above and beyond to make our stay special and we really enjoyed the little extra touches that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable!”

“Our family stayed here the last few nights and immensely enjoyed ourselves. Unfortunately there was an accidental trailer fire that caused quite the commotion. I would like to send HUGE gratitude to the owners and staff for the way they handled the situation. With the potential for the fire to spread, the owner and staff went door to door to knock on every campers' door. He was calm but direct advising that there was a fire, that the authorities had been notified, and that we should be alert incase we needed to evacuate. He was concerned first and foremost with his customers safety and well being. While several campers panicked, I overheard staff calmly and patiently explaining how staying calm would benefit everyone while also helping to direct campers to safety. Never mind the fact that the washrooms were spotless, the beach was beautiful, the people were friendly, that they have a boat launch, a beach with horse shoes and other activities in a gorgeous setting -- the fact that the owner and staff demonstrated that the customer and customer service is their number one priority far outweighs anything else. I applaud Calabogie Camping for an amazing job and will be going back for sure. I should add that no-one was injured and the fire was put out quickly by the fire fighters. I hope the owner and staff appreciate that this was a total fluke accident and not because of something they did. Thank you again Calabogie Camping!!”

“I can’t talk about the inside of the resort. I checked the place from the outside. The location is nice on a lake the hotel looks great. The rooms have a nice view . The area has a lot to offer it is one hour from Ottawa has a ski resort and trails . Something a must do is eagle nest look out that is amazing and the view is stunning. You can rent an ATV and visit lots of places. I highly recommended the area I stress again that I didn’t see the room!”

“My sister her family loved staying at this cottage. It was spotless with lots of thoughtful and useful things in the cottage. You can particularly appreciate the welcome for the breathtaking view of the mountains - stunning! It had everything they needed for a comfortable stay for a family of 4. I would recommend this if you are looking for a quaint cottage. You love the Peak village and Calabogie lake too.”

“Absolutely wonderful chalet. Such a warm and welcoming place to stay, and so close to Calabogie Peaks. It's a perfect place to stay and relax post skiing, or even enjoy a nice hike on the number of trails that surround it. Another plus is its ability to sleep so many! If you are looking for a group getaway or team building retreat, this is a great place to do it. Would highly recommend!”

“Very friendly staff, and honestly one of the only golf courses open first week of April. Couldn't be happier! Everything was beige but the course played just like healthy grass. Better than the dry season if you ask me! Love the lake views”

“The hill itself is a 5. Great atmosphere and great conditions. It was busy, and I expected it because it was a Saturday so the lines were long which is understandable. What got me was workers got to bump the line with the people they were with. We all go for the same reason and pay a price, I didn’t think that was fair as I got cut off 3 times, twice by the same man. The brown and blue jackets is an entitlement that was taken advantage. If he was giving lessons then make it known.. Paid 60 bucks for 4 hours and got 5 runs. Not a big deal very happy to get out! I give it a 3+ overall , workers skipping lines wasn’t cool.”

“Beautiful grounds and magnificent experience. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub are closed due to Covid-19. The beach is great and we took the kayaks and paddle boards out. It’s raining now, we plan on taking a hike later to eagles nest. Will let you know more once we leave.”

“If I could give this place 10 stars that wouldn't even do it justice. We have been to a number of campgrounds this season and not one has come close to being as amazing as this one (in fact we haven't liked any others - field camping or being 5 feet from your neighbour is not camping IMO). The location is amazing...quiet, private, on a beautiful lake and run well. It's family owned by very friendly people who take care of the grounds and the people that visit. The sites are amazing...you aren't on top of your neighbour and all site are surrounded by lots of big old trees. The swimming spots are amazing both the beach area and the rock area and the sunsets are unreal. We have been 4 or 5 times this year and never had an issue with noise and everyone we met has been super friendly. Would love a seasonal but naturally there is a long waitlist. I recommend this place to anyone looking for perfect camping. It doesn't get better than this!”

“The White Pines is a slice of heaven where the atmosphere is relaxed and the folks treat you like you've been a member of the family since the beginning of time. The cottages are lovely. They are very nicely furnished and kept immaculate. Our family discovered The White Pines about 13 years ago and we feel like we have come home every time we turn onto Popkie Road. Black Donald Lake is hidden treasure as well. It is loaded with Smallmouth Bass, Pike and Walleye. If you are looking to get away, relax by a campfire, enjoying the call of the Loons and spend quality time with family and nature, this is your destination.”
