“Golden Lake Park Campground is a very nice place to visit as a transient or stay as a seasonal camper. The owners set the tone and work very hard to provide a well maintained, safe and happy camping experience. Tents, travel trailers, fifth wheels and motor homes all have places here. The lake is beautiful, there is a small river to explore, trees, beaches and lots of happy campers. Within a few minutes to an hour away there are many small towns, a few small cities, caves, Algonquin Park and many other interesting places to visit.”

“We are a family of four with young kids and rented red maple for a week. The cabin was not modern but it was tastefully decorated. The bathroom was too small for us and it would be good for a family of three or couples. The cabin had a good quality air conditioner. We loved the fact that there was a deck facing the lake and the beach was 10m away from the deck. The property was clean and well managed. The beach was groomed everyday; the dock was cleaned daily; and the fire pits were cleaned and prepared each night. The beach was always quiet and the water was waist deep for like 50 m out. There was also a pool on the property and it was not busy during our stay. There was also a fleet of bikes for guests to use and the bikes were well maintained. The property owners were super welcoming and capable. Our concerns were always promptly addressed. This place exceeded our expectations and I was glad that we stayed there.”

“I have been going to this camp since 2011 and have worked at the camp for three summers. I have made so many friends and have dozens of memories going to this camp. The staff are all so dedicated to the campers and just want to give them the best experience possible. The camp is also very inclusive, and tries their very best to make sure every kid who wants to go to this camp gets the chance, regardless of religious background, behavioral issues or family income. Hope I can go work there again this summer!”
