Golden Lake Park Campground is a very nice place to visit as a transient or stay as a seasonal camper. The owners set the tone and work very hard to provide a well maintained, safe and happy camping experience. Tents, travel trailers, fifth wheels and motor homes all have places here. The lake is beautiful, there is a small river to explore, trees, beaches and lots of happy campers. Within a few minutes to an hour away there are many small towns, a few small cities, caves, Algonquin Park and many other interesting places to visit.
My Husband and I drive 3 hours every weekend to come to our happy Place. The staff and volunteers are the best around. They really take good care of everyone that comes here. I could not ask for a better place for my family 😁
Amazing camping! A nice beach, nice park our kids loved it! A bonus for us was the very nice river to kayak! Kudos for the great service, the staff was more than helpful! Recommend!!
We had an amazing stay at this family friendly park. Both the staff and seasonal campers were super friendly. Our kids particularly loved the ice-cream at the general store and the playground. Our big kids loved the open spaces and used them to play sports daily.
The weekend activities were an added bonus and fun for all ages. We experienced both a petting zoo and Christmas in July during our stay.
I have never stayed in a park that had such clean, bright and well kept washrooms! Well done Golden Lake Campground! We'll definitely be back!
The people that are running this business are in it for the right reason and seem to be trying to do right by others.
They have a nice park right on a beautiful lake at the mouth of a long river. Lots of life here and action in the water.
Many great views and towns to visit nearby.
If you're full time or just passing thru check out their pull thru RV spots.
